ITB Berlin 2020 will not take place. Due to the rapid spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) the Federal Ministry of Health and the Federal Ministry of Economics have stated their opinion that ITB Berlin be cancelled.

The Lufthansa Group has achieved the Climate Scoring result “B” in the 2019 climate change reporting of the non-profit rating organisation CDP. As in the previous year, the airline group is thus once again listed in the second highest ranking band and thus occupies one of the top positions among the airlines.

2019 was a successful year for the Autostadt in Wolfsburg/Germany. More than two million people (2,113,000) visited the Volkswagen Group communications platform last year (2018: 2,279,000).

The safety of passengers and employees is a top priority for the Lufthansa Group. After thoroughly evaluating all currently available information on the corona virus, Lufthansa Group has decided to suspend its Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines flights to/from Beijing and Shanghai until February 28 with immediate effect.

As part of the agreement, PCMA, the world’s largest network of business events strategists, will support ADCEB, which is part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), in three key areas, including Convention Services Manager Training (CSM training) for elected event executives from the Emirate.
